Pacific Northwest salmon are in the midst of an extinction crisis. We need urgent, large-scale investments in salmon recovery before beloved Chinook and B-run steelhead runs across Oregon, Washington, and Idaho start to go extinct in the next five years.
We’ve spent at least 20 years in court and the government has spent more than $17 billion dollars trying to recover endangered salmon and steelhead, only to see continued declines. It’s clear the status quo isn’t working and we are running out of time to find durable solutions.
Join us for a Pint Night at Hopworks Urban Brewery on Wednesday, August 4th at 6pm. Meet other Steelheaders and learn about the dire need for a salmon recovery plan that restores a free-flowing lower Snake River.
Then, join us in your boats on the Willamette River between the Morrison and Burnside bridges near the Tom McCall waterfront in Portland at 1:30pm on August 7th to urge lawmakers to get serious about salmon recovery. We printed 30 vinyl 6’ x 3’ banners for folks to hang on their boats during the rally: reserve yours using the form below!
Don't have a boat? Meet us on the Tom McCall Waterfront near the fountain with your signs to turn up the heat on our electeds.
"Save Salmon. Save Jobs."
"Salmon support us, let's support them."
"Salmon are in an extinction crisis."
You can pick up your banner at our Pint Night on August 4th at 6pm at Hopworks Urban Brewery (2944 SE Powell Blvd. Portland, OR).
